About Me

Music Fan: Known as Musicfan in the internet world, few years ago, started writing music reviews in a discussion forum. This blog took shape, when a friend who owns that discussion forum, suggested to start a blog of my own. Musicfan is my user-id in various discussion forums. Many fans of different music directors used fight regarding who is great. My userid was created with a message that we need to be fans to music not persons. My biggest qualification to write these articles, is having good ears to music obtained from years of hearing music greats and about 8+ years of training in carnatic music. Any review or article I write in this blog comes with caveat that it is my personal feeling towards something I hear. The name of the blog derives from memory lane in Machilipatnam, (Andhra Pradesh India). We friends used to hang out at this tea place called Nairbaddi center to discuss anything in the world over a cup of tea shared as 4/7, 5/10, or any such ratio after playing at Hindu College grounds. Song of the week, has been another area where I wanted to write from long time Thanks to everyone who supported me to make this blog happen. Any feedback of my work is greatly appreciated
