Life Is Beautiful is a coming of age story of six youngsters set in the beautiful nostalgic world of a working-middle class neighborhood. The film tracks their journey through the different seasons, festivals, romances, street cricket, colony fights, and family gatherings. With the beginning of responsibilities, and adulthood looming around the corner, their dreams and aspirations bring them all together, to make the whole experience magical.

There are 6 songs including a pop song in this audio. Life is beautiful is slated for release on August 15. Mickey J Meyer has scored the music for this movie which has songs penned by Ananth Sriram (4) and Vanamali (2). Ananth Sriram in audio release told he has written 5 songs and how it gave meals to him uniting five fingers. Surprising to see why one song is removed from the album.

Shekar and Mickey started off their days Happy, and now they wanted to make their life beautiful. Mickey J Meyer has shown some caliber with his previous movies with his feel good songs. As time passes, it will be litmus test for him to sustain, maintain the standards and show variety. This movie is definetely going to a tough task for him in that regard. Shekar on other hand started off with KM Radhakrishnan, when he shifted to Mickey J, there was a big question why as KMR provided some excellent albums for Anand and Godavari. Ofcourse Mickey J didnt let Shekar down with the choice he made.

For telugu lovers, many many years the lyricists were never a scarcity. However recent times the standards were way way down, and with singers making mess out of the songs, it was a firm belief that telugu songs are going to fade away soon. Ananth Sriram and Vanamali likes were like only hope who though they can never be another Veturi or Sirivennela, these kind of lyricists are the only hope for Telugu to sustain. Asking blessings of Veturi garu, remembering on the audio release is a notable gesture by the movie makers, as Shekar can easily owe initial success to Veturi garu for his touching lyrics. Whether it be Anand or Godavari. ( నీల గగన, ఘన విచలన ధరణిజ శ్రీరామ, మధుర వదన నళిన నయన మనవి వినరా రామ!! we definitely cannot hear such lyrics again)

The singers choice appears to be better in this album though not the best. Atleast unwarranted singers dont exist which is very good.

Shekar Kammula started star hunt for this movie around September 2010, and the movie is slated to be released on August 15, 2012. It took considerable time to make movies. Lets see how beautiful are these songs.

1. Life is beautiful
Singer: KK
Lyrics: Ananth Sriram

Song of the title and movie is the same could be a title song. Starts with guitar play, accompanied by beats, then KK. The beauty of the song is lyrics and if not sung properly the song is wasted. This is what exactly happened to this song. The whole difference of earlier movie songs and this song is as simple as that. KK singing lacks clarity of words. Ananth Sriram's lyrics has lost the value. Mickey J humming is an extension of his earlier songs. Life is beautiful will be sung by youth as it definitely goes with them. Mickey infused traditional instrumental tunes in between, which could be demanded by situation. This song for sure is wasted. Could have been done much better it missed the chance of being an anthem among youth. Picturization only should help this song.

2. Beautiful girl
 Singer: Karthik
 Lyrics: Vanamali

Vanamali told during audio release that he got a chance to write two Telugu songs after a long time. But it is not completely true. As this song has many beautiful words is infused by the director ( Mickey or Shekar). This songs completely lacks freshness. This song reminds Mickey's many other songs. Karthik does his job, but the issue with him is that his voice doesn't suit most of the Telugu songs. Telugu song needs singing openly only when the lyrics/words can be heard, which he lacks because of his natural voice and its his limitation. What ever best he does, it doesn't sound awesome in Telugu. Karthik singing wise is a treat.

3. Atu itu ooguthu
Singer: Sri Ramachandra
Lyrics: Ananth Sriram

All song are sung at same pitch there by sounding similar, which made singer struggle I guess. Sri Ramachandra didn't sound comfortable. Ananth Sriram had to go for lyrics which had logic but didnt understand why he wrote, జాబిలి కి జలుబు ని తెచ్చే చలువ నీవే. This kind of imagination proves us that he is miles far away from Veturi garu and Sirivennela. Mickey J took simple way of composing with keeping everything simple, which makes things pleasant. However had to struggle to understand even with Sriram a Telugu person singing this sentence. " మాములుగా అనిపిస్తుందే ???? వస్తే? in second stanza. Overall a feel good song as it was kept simple.

4. Its your love
 Singer: Naresh Iyer
Lyrics: Ananth Sriram

Seems like Naresh Iyer is favorite of Shekar, Mickey J or their lucky charm? Somehow I felt all the songs so far are having same pattern. This is typical of Mickey J. This might be his trade mark. Again Naresh Iyer had reminded few other songs, except for the chorus. Another song which is dependent on Shekar Kammula for a better treatment in the movie to make it a lot better. Looked like there is nothing offered in this song.

5. Amma ani Kothaga
 Singers: Sashi Kiran, Sravana Bhargavi
Lyrics: Vanamali

Song starts with aarohana and avarohana. This kind of songs shouldn't have huskiness in singing. The shadow  voices took off the effect of quality lyrics. The instrumentation is lound and dominated the voice. These kind of songs need elevation by singers which is missing in this song. Just doing justice will not help the song in long run. Any song on mother has to touch heart. The lyrics should be clearly heard for the feel, music/instrumentation should not dominate the voice. This song will definitely make it to charts, be success, but doesn't go far where it is supposed to go in terms of reaching public.

6. Life is beautiful (Pop)

Lyrics: Ananth Sriram

This what current generation pop music does to Telugu language. Not that earlier people haven't done pop music in Telugu that appealed youth. Lack of knowledge of the people whoever is involved in making songs should for sure understand what they are making. Might sound harsh, as didn't expect from Shekar who gave lots of importance to lyrics working with Veturi gaaru. The real tribute to Veturi garu is not just saying words, need to do it in action. "ఆశయంగా" has become "ఆశ and "యంగా". It took a while to understand what Sriram had sung.For a minute I thought it was Tamil. Anyways just another routing song aimed at youth.

Shekar and Mickey venture definitely missed few elements to make their life so beautiful. The songs are feel good songs, but for sure lack freshness. As every other new music director in the film industry are having  issues with consistency, variety and maintaining their standards, Mickey J too had exactly the same issues. Songs dont appear fresh, more over they appear an extension version of his old songs in a new format.  May be this is what Shekar wanted. Singers absolutely couldn't add value to the songs. They could just do justice within their limitations. There is nothing extra ordinary in lyrics which was pretty much needed for this movie. Now it all depends on Shekar's abilities to make this movie big. All the best for the entire team.

ప్రక్రుతి లో అణువణువునా సంగీతం ఉంది. ఈ సంగీతం ఎవరిని ఎలా కదిలిస్తుందో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. మేఘ ఘర్జన లో. వాన చినుకులో, సెలయేటి సందడి లో, వాగు హోరులో,, నది జోరులో, సముద్రపు అలల లో, ఇంకా ఆకు కదలిక లో, పక్షి గొంతులో, ఇలా చెప్పుకుంటే ఎన్నో లయ బద్దం గా మనిషిని అలరిస్తాయి. సంగీతంకు మనిషిని ఏదైనా చెయ్యగల శక్తి ఉంది. అలాగే పాట కూడా. మనిషిని ఉల్లాసపరుస్తుంది,, ఉత్సాహపరుస్తుంది,, బాధ కలిగిస్తుంది,, ఆవేశ పరుస్తుంది,, ఆలోచింపచేస్తుంది,, మనసు ,కరిగిస్తుంది గుండె నిండా అన్ని భావాలతో నింపేస్తుంది.. అంతటి శక్తి ఉన్న వేల పాటలలో కొన్ని పాటలు విన్న మరుక్షణం మనిషి జీవితం లో ఒక స్థానం సంపాదిస్తుంది.. అటువంటి పాటలలో "శ్రీరామ గానామృతం"" లోని మేలుకో శ్రీ రామ ఒకటి.. ఆ పాటకి ఉన్న శక్తి ఏమిటో అర్థం అయ్యేలా చెప్పటం చాల కష్టం, అనుభవిస్తే తప్ప. దేవ గానం చేస్తూ గందర్వులు దైవ లోకం లో ఉంటారని వింటాం కాని మనకి వాళ్ళ గొప్పతనం ఏమిటో, వాళ్ళ గొంతు ఎలాగా ఉంటుందో తెలియదు. అలాగే అమృతం అంటే ఎవరి ఆలోచనా శక్తికి తగ్గ అది ఎలాగ ఉంటుందో ఊహించటమే కాని దాని రుచి ఏమిటో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. అందుకే అత్యుత్తమ లక్షణాలు కలిగి ఉండి మనకు అత్యంత ప్రీతి కలిగించే లక్షణం ఉన్న దాన్ని అమృతం అంటాం. ఈ పాటలకి గానా అమృతం అనటం ఎంత సమంజసమో అవి వింటే అర్థం అవుతుంది.

రామ నామము భారత నాట అత్యంత తీయని నామముగా అందరికి సుపరిచితమే..రాముడు లాంటి ఒక మనిషి ఎప్పుడు పుట్టలేదు పుట్టబోడు ఎందుకంటే ఒక మనిషి ధర్మానుసారం ఎలా నడవాలో ఆచరించి చూపిన వ్యక్తి. అందుకే ఆ నామానికి ఆ వ్యక్తికీ అంతటి ఖ్యాతి. మనిషికి దేవుడు అనే వాడు ఒక ప్రశ్న. తమకి అంతు చిక్కని దేవుడిని దేవుడి లక్షణాలు ఉన్న వాళ్ళని దేవుడుగా భావిస్తాడు.. అందుకనే రాముడు దేవుడయ్యాడు. ఎందరో ఆ రాముని నామం జపిస్తూ తరించిన వారే.

పాట ఎటువంటిదైన సరిగ్గా పాడటం చాల కష్టం. ఎవరు పడితే వాళ్ళు పాడుకో వచ్చు కాని వేరే వాళ్ళు వినాలంటే పాటకి తగ్గ లక్షణాలు కావాలి. ఈ మధ్య అన్ని సినిమా పాటల్లో తప్పులు దొర్లటం ,చూస్తున్నాము అవి దురదృష్టకరమైనా క్షమించ దగ్గ తప్పులే వినటానికి ఇంపుగా ఉంటె వింటాము లేకపోతె వదిలేస్తాము.. కాని  భక్తి పాటలు తప్పులు దొర్లటానికి వీలు లేని పాటలు.. అపశ్రుతి, ఉచ్చారణ దోషాలు, భావ దోషాలు ఏవి వీలు కాని పాటలు. ఈ పాటలు ఎవరు పడితే వాళ్ళు పాడితే ఆ భక్తీ భావం లేక పొతే ఆ పాత సాధారణ పాటగా మిగిలి పోతుంది.. భక్తి పాట భక్తున్ని పరవసింప చెయ్యాలి. అప్పుడే ఆ పాటకి సార్ధకత చేకూరుతుంది. అందులో మంత్రాలు పాటలుగా పాడితే అందులో ఉచ్చారణ దోషాలు  ఉంటె మంత్రం వికటించే ప్రమాదం కూడా ఉంది.. అందుకే పాడేవాళ్ళు జాగ్రత్తగా పాడాలి. శంకర్ మహదేవన్ మంచి గాయకుడే కాని, తెలియక చేసినా తెలిసి చేసిన తప్పు తప్పే, గణేశ స్తుతి ( గణేశాయ ధీమహి ) పాడినప్పుడు అనేక ఉచ్చారణ దోషాలు ఉన్నాయి. బాల చంద్రాయ కి "భాల" చంద్రాయ అని పాడతాడు.. గీత కి ఘీత, గజేశానాయ కి గజేషానాయ అని పాడటం ఇలాగ చూస్తె చాల ఉన్నాయి. ఒక భక్తి పాట కళ్ళు మూసుకొని వింటే తన్మయత్వం చెందాలి.. ఇలాంటి తప్పులు మనసు కలుక్కు మానకూడదు. అందుకే తెలుగు/సంస్కృతం  తెల్సిన వాళ్ళు, సరిగ్గా ఉచ్చారణ చేసేవాళ్ళు వాళ్ళు భక్తి పాటలు పాడితే అత్యంత సహజం గా ఉంది మనసులో హత్తుకు పోతాయి.. ఘంటసాల,, బాలు, బాల మురళి కృష్ణ  లాంటి గాన గంధర్వులు పాడిన పాటలు వినగలగటం మన అదృష్టం.. 

శ్రీ రామ గానామృతం  భక్తి పాటలు షుమారు 40 సంవత్సరాల క్రితం KV మహదేవన్ గారి స్వర కల్పనలో ఆరుద్ర గారి పద రచన లో(అన్నమాచర్య కీర్తనలు 1-2మినహా), బాలు,, సుశీలగారు పాడగా తెలుగు నాట బాగా ప్రాచుర్యం పొందాయి. కాని ఇవి ఇప్పటి తరం లో ఎంతమందికి తెల్సో అనేది కొంచెం క్లిష్టమైన ప్రశ్న. కాని ఇందులోని పాటలు ఇప్పటికి ప్రాతః కాలం వింటే మనసుకి అదో ప్రసాంతత,, సంతృప్తి.. ఏదో తెలియని అనుభూతి,, ఎక్కడికో మనసుని పయనింప చేసే శక్తి. అందుకే,, ఇలాంటి పాటలు రాముడు ఉన్నంత వరకు జీవించి ఉంటాయి. మేలుకో శ్రీరామ అనేపాట మహదేవన్ గారు అత్యద్బుతం గా స్వరపరచిన పాట. ఆరుద్ర గారి ఊహా శక్తికి మించిన  సరళమైన భావం తో రాముడిని ఉదయాన నిద్రలేపటం ఎంతో రమణీయం గా ఉంటుంది.మహదేవన్ గారు ఈ పాటలో,, వీణ, ఫ్లూట్, వయోలిన్, అత్యంత రమణీయంగా రామ నామానికి సరిగా తోడు అవుతాయి. గొప్ప సంగీత దర్శకులు శ్రోతల్ని పాటలోకి తీసుకెళతారు, వాళ్ళని ముందు గా తయారు చేస్తారు పాటలోకి లీనం అవ్వటానికి. అలాగే ఈ పాట కూడా. పల్లవి కి ముందు వచ్చే సంగీతం తో రాముణ్ణి మేల్కొలిపే విధం గా తయారు అవుతాడు శ్రోత.

ఇంకా ఆలస్యం దేనికి ఆ రామున్ని మనం కూడా మేల్కొలుపుదాము పదండి.

మేలుకో మేలుకో మేలైన గుణ ధామ..

భగవంతుడిని మేల్కొలపటం అనేది అనాది గా మనిషి/భక్తుడు చేస్తున్న ఆచారం. అనేక మంది తర తరాలు గా పద్యాలు పాటలు, కవిత్వాలు రాసారు, పాడారు. సుప్రభాతం అనేది మన భారతీయ సంస్కృతీ. జగమేలే పరమాత్మకి నిద్ర ఏమిటి, మెలుకువ ఏమిటి. పరమాత్మ అయిన రాముడు మనిషి గా జన్మించి మనిషి గా కష్టాలు అనుభవించాడు కాబట్టి మనం కూడా రాముడు నిద్రపోతాడు,, మేలుకొల్పుదాం తప్పు లేదు.. ఉదయాన భానుడు ఉదయించే వేల రాముడు ఇంకా పడుకున్నాడు. అటువంటి రాముడిని భక్తుడు ఎలా నిద్ర లేపుతాడో అంటే,, బుజ్జగించి,, పొగిడి,, గొప్పతనం తెలియచేసి,, చెయ్యవలసిన పనులు గుర్తు చేస్తూ,, చుట్టూ పక్కల ఏమి జరుగుతోందో,, దేనికి అలస్యమైపోతోందో అని తెలియచేయటం,, ఇలాగ అనేక విధాలుగా ఒకరిని నిద్ర లేపొచ్చు. అన్ని విషయాలు తెల్సిన దేవుడికి నిద్రలేవాలన్న విషయం తెల్వదా అంటే,, అది భక్తుని సరదా, తన సొంతమైన భగవంతుడిని ఎలాగైనా చెయ్యొచ్చు, అది భగవంతునికి ఇష్టమే. ఎందుకంటే భగవంతుడు, భక్తునికి దాసుడైతే, భక్తుడు భగవంతునికి దాసుడు.. ఒకరి మీద ఒకరికి ఆ చమత్కారాలు ఆడుకొనే అధికారం, చనువు, చొరవ ఉంటాయి. అందుకే భక్తుడి ఊహకి తగ్గట్టుగా భగవంతుడు ఉండటం భగవంతుడి లక్షణం. ఇటువంటి తర్కాలన్నీ పక్కన పెడితే, ఇక్కడ ఆరుద్రగారు ఏమేమి చమత్కారాలు చేస్తారో చూద్దాం.

రాముడు లోకాభిరాముడు, నీల మేఘ శ్యాముడు. రాముడి శరీర ఛాయ నీల మేఘం రంగు. అందుకే ఆయనని నీల మేఘ శ్యాముడు అన్నారు. నీరద అంటే కూడా మేఘమే. ఎటువంటి మేఘం అంటే నీటితో నిండిన మేఘం. ఆ మేఘం వర్షిస్తే ఎంత వాన పడుతుందో, రాముడు కూడా కరుణిస్తే, అంటే ప్రేమ కురుస్తుంది. అటువంటి రాముడు మేల్కొని ఉంటె అందరికి మేలు జరుగుతుంది, ఎన్నో సుగుణాలు కలిగిన రాముడు అన్ని మేలైన గుణాలే ఉన్న వాడు. మేలైన గుణాలు ఉన్నవాళ్లు మేల్కొని ఉంటె చాల పనులు అవుతాయి. అందుకనే ఓ రామ తొందరగా మేలుకో..బాలు గారి గొంతులో మాధుర్యం చరణం పాడినప్పుడు అర్థం అవుతుంది. ధన్య జీవి బాలు గారు. ఎన్ని జన్మల ఫలమో ఆ వరం.!!!

అల నీల గగనమ్ము అరునారుణం ఆయే..

పల్లవి లో నీల నీరదం, చరణం లో నీల గగనం అదే పద చమత్కారం. రాముడు నీల రంగులో ఉంటాడు. అందుకే బాపు గారు శ్రీ రామ రాజ్యం లో రాముణ్ణి  అలాగే చూపించారు. కాని మనకి రామున్ని వేరే రంగులో ఊహించుకోవటం వాళ్ళ రామున్ని అలా చూడటం చాల మందికి నచ్చలేదు. రాముడు అలాగే ఉంటాడు కాబట్టి బాపు గారు ఏమాత్రం వేరు గా చూపలేదు. స్వచ్చమైన ఆకాశం నీలం రంగులో ఉంటుంది, కాని ఉదయాన సాయం సంధ్యలో ఆకాశం అరుణకిరణం తో ఎర్రగా ఉంటుంది. ప్రతి కవి తను రాసే ముందు చాల కష్టపడతాడు, చాల విషయాలు తెల్సుకొని దానికి అనుగుణం గా తన కవితలు కాని పాటలలో కాని వాడుకుంటాడు. అందుకనే కవి పాట బట్టి కవి ప్రతిభ చెప్పొచ్చు.ఓ రామ సూర్య కాంతి తో ఆకాశం ఎర్ర గా మారింది. రాముని కులదైవం సూర్యుడు. ఆ సూర్యుడు ఉదయాన కొలువుండే కొండ, ఉదయాద్రి. అలాగే సాయంత్రం అస్తమించే టప్పుడు కొలువుండే కొండ అస్త  అద్రి. సూర్యుడు తన పని చేస్తున్నాడు, తను ఉదయ కాంతితో కొలను లోని తామరలు పులకించి పోయి ఆనందం తో విచ్చుకొని విరబూస్తున్నాయి. తామర కన్నులున్న ఓ రామ మూసిన కళ్ళు తెరచి మేలుకోవయ్యా మమ్మేలుకోవయ్య.

మరల విశ్వామిత్ర మహర్షే మేల్కొలిపి 

నరసార్దూల నిన్ను నందించ వలయునా..

కౌసల్య సుప్రజా రామ, పూర్వా సంధ్య ప్రవర్తతే, ఉత్తిష్ఠ నరసార్దూల కర్తవ్యమ్ దైవ మాహ్నికం అని విశ్వామిత్ర మహర్షి రాముణ్ణి మేల్కొలపటానికి పాడిన సుప్రభాతం. వశిష్ట మహర్షి దసరద మాహారాజు కి రాజ గురువు. రామ లక్ష్మణ భారత శత్రుఘ్నులకు అన్ని నేర్పిన రాజ గురువు. కాని యుద్ద విద్యలు నేర్పింది విశ్వామిత్రుడే. దశరధుడు ఒక రోజు కొలువు తీరి ఉండగా వచ్చి వరం పొందుతాడు విశ్వామిత్రుడు. అప్పుడు విశ్వామిత్రుడు తనతో పాటు రామ లక్ష్మణలను తన యాగా సంరక్షణ కోసం పంపమని అడుగుతాడు. దశరధుడు భయపడినా, వశిష్ట మహర్షి అంగీకారం తో వాళ్ళను పంపుతాడు దశరధుడు. విశ్వామిత్రుడు అందుకు ప్రతిఫలం గా వాళ్ళకి యుద్ద విద్యలను నేర్పటానికి సంసిద్దుదవుతాడు. రామలక్ష్మణలను నిద్ర పోతుండగా చూసి రాముణ్ణి  నిద్ర లేపటానికి సుప్రభాతం పాడతాడు. నరులలో శ్రేష్టి ఐన శ్రీ రామ ఆ విశ్వామిత్రుడిలాగ మరల నిన్ను లేపాలా? సీతమ్మ తల్లి అప్పుడు నిద్ర లేచి తన పనులలో మునిగి ఉంది, నువ్వు నిద్ర పోవటం సమంజసం కాదు మేలుకో శ్రీరామ మమ్మేలుకోవయ్య.!!!

ఉదయాన్నే దైవ దర్సనం చేసుకోవటం అన్నిటిలో మిన్న. అందులో ప్రత్యక్ష దైవం అయితే ఇంక తిరుగు ఉండదు. చరణారవిందాల దర్సనం అయ్యి, పాదాలకు నమస్కరిస్తే ఆ రోజు అన్ని శుభాలే. అందుకే ప్రతి రోజు భగవత్పాద దర్సనం లో దినం ఆరంబిస్తే అత్యంత శుభం కల్గుతుంది. రాముడు కోసం కొన్ని వేల మంది ఆ మనోహర రూపం మనసార చూసి తరించటానికి వేచి ఉంటారు. రాజులకి ఒక్క వాకిలి కాదు కదా అనేకం ఉంటాయి. రాముడు ఎందుకు నిద్ర లేవాలి అంటే, మొదటి కారణం, ఆ రామ పాదాలకు దండం పెట్టటానికి, దివ్య రూప దర్సనానికి, ఆ తరువాత భక్తులని కాపాడటానికి వేచి ఉన్న వాళ్ళ కోసం శీఘ్రం మేలుకొని పాలించ వయ్యా రామ. శ్రీ రఘు రామ అని ఊహ కి అందని దివ్య మనోహర రూపం మన కళ్ళ  ముందు ఉంచి అలాగా వదిలేస్తారు మహదేవన్ గారు, ఆరుద్ర గారు, బాలు గారు.

కొసమెరుపు:  రామ గానామృతం లాంటి ఆడియోలు అరుదుగా వస్తాయి. అందులో ఎన్నో దశాబ్దాల క్రితం వచ్చినా ఇంకా మొదటి సారి విన్నప్పుడు కలిగిన అనుభూతి మిగుల్స్తుంది విన్న ప్రతి సారి. ఇటువంటి అరుదైన పాటలు ఇంక ముందు రావు రాబోవు. మొదట ఇటువంటి పాటలు అందించే వారే లేరు, ఒక వేళ  వచ్చినా ఇటువంటి పాటలు ఆదరించే వారు లేరు. ఉదాహరణ శ్రీరామ రాజ్యం సినిమా అవార్డులకు కాని జనాదరణ కి కాని నోచుకోకపోవటం మారుతున్న జనాభిరుచికి, రాబోయే తరాలకి ప్రతీక.ఇటువంటి పాటలు విని ఆనందించే వాళ్ళకి పాత తరం అందించిన జీవితానికి సరిపడా పాటలు ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి అవి వింటూ సంతృప్తి పడటం మినహా చెయ్యగలిగింది ఏమి లేదు. ఈ పాటలు వెబ్ ప్రపంచం లో కూడా అంతగా ఆదరణ లభించలేదు. దాదాపు దశాబ్దం క్రితం ఇవి ఇంటర్నెట్ లో కూడా ఎక్కడ దొరకలేదు. తెలుగు పాటల తీయ్యదనం, గొప్పతనం తెలియచేసే ఇటువంటి పాటలని ఆదరించే రోజు మరల వస్తుంది అని ఆశిద్దాం.

Slated to be Idiot-2, later on dropped the idea as Puri didnt have stories for a sequel. So finally seems like he had decided to make a movie with no story. Puri seems to be following his guru RGV in following his trend, winding up movies quite fast. Many times, he is now getting branded as being eccentric with his ideas, dialogs and movie making. It is 5th time Puri and Raviteja worked togather and 3rd time that Puri and Ileana worked togather. There must be some philosophy for Puri going against his trend of naming his movies, and go the older way and reusing the 1973 released devudu chesina manushulu, which had some great songs still haunting music lovers. Raghu Kunche, an anchor, singer and music director got fame by his ravanamma song. However he couldnt make any impact after that in getting offers. Its Puri again gets him some work thru this movie. Raghu kunche had less than half dozen movies to him so far. Did he bring the fame of the movie thru his music or its just another routine film music that passes the movie line is what one need to look at it. The singers choice is a big let down to start with. Adnan Sami, Shreya Ghosal, Udit Narayan for a telugu music director leaves a bad impression. He himself being a singer kept two songs for himself. Bhaskarabhatla gets a single card for lyricist. With total 6 songs, and Puri movies generally doesnt have a great music so far, lets see how these songs fared.

01 – Subba Lakshmi

Out and out mass song to suit Raviteja's body language. Sung to the core to suit Raviteja's energy and mannerisms. Seems like there was expectations to deliver another ravanamma song, again goes around marriage. The pattern of the Telugu music has changed. Add rap, some Hindi words here and there, and in between some Telugu words. This is all about a Telugu songs now a days. This kind of pattern in every song doesn't work in long term and more over they all appear same. Raghu brings in the Jessi Gift style of rendering with his change over in the voice. The interludes lack energy, but doesn't deviate with much of the rest of the song.  This song whether exceeds expectations of Ravanamma type song depends on how masses take this song. There are catchy phrases, Subbalakshmi is commonly used name so this song will get to people. Bhaskarbhatla also brings in all questions that were asked many times togather and finalized this song.

02 – Nuvvele Nuvvele

I am not sure what film making people look when they listen to song. What is the fascination of wanting Shreya, Udit, Adnan in Telugu? Why cant they just listen when they sing in their own languages? What advantage Music directors get when they sing in Telugu when there are 1000's of singers waiting to sing in Telugu and can sing better? I sincerely request all those involved in film making to seriously think. భారంగా stress is on the the word, but not on bringing the effect of the word. This is what you get when who cant understand words sing.

03 – Disturb Chetannade

This song reminds many songs. Still doesn't appeal. Start of the song and the mood of the rest of the song are quite contrast. Suchitra tried a different slang, but doesn't sound good. Somehow clarity in missed in this song. Song goes so so..

04 – Yemi Sethura

Udit Narayan, Chinmayi

Raghu kunche made really bad choice to make it sing with Udit and Chinmayi. I stopped listening Udit after the song egire chilakamma from Pawan's movie Bangaaram. One of the beautiful composition and lyrics royally messed by with Bad pronounciation/singing by Udit. Raghu Kunche completely spoiled this song up with not providing the lyrics right justice. ఏమి  has become యామి.The mood was not carried thru the song nor the meaning conveyed. Mangalampally balamurali krishna sung the classic emi cheturaa lingaa which was a great tatvam. Bhaskarabhatla might have been inspired from this tatvam tried his best, but he could not get it right to listeners. Chinmayi on other hand sung it with accent and style which didn't suit the song. 

05 – Nuvvantey Chala

One another song which doesnt appeal any music lovers. Once again Raghu Adnan Why Raghu Why?? Emi seturaa Raghu Emi cheturaa. Adnan gave a bad performance forget about Telugu, He struggled thru out the song. Instead of chorus singing Hindi, Raghu could have let Adnan sing Hindi. Adnan swallowed most of the words. Once again Raghu couldnt do any justice to this song. Not so quality tune either. Spending so much money on Adnan for a song like this is totally waste of time and money.

06 – Devuda Devuda

Raghu Kunche, Anjana Soumya

Again song for Ravi teja. Anjana Soumya dominated the song. Raghu couldnt match Anjana. She also sounded more like Swarnalata. If she can fill in for Swarnalata good for her. People will watch for Ravi teja's energy and steps, but listeners will peacefully ignore this song too.

Pick(s) of the album: Subbalakshmi 

Any music director should create impact within the chances they get. One or two songs will not take them anywhere. More over when they listen to any song, they should never think about other songs which might sound the song they are hearing. Then again, any song will be elevated with right choice of singers. When a bad choice is made, the song is already history. Raghu didnt do justice to title and the old film that made history, didnt utilize the oppurtunity he got. He will be lucky if Subbalakshmi song goes into people and this album survives until then only. He grew step by step and to stay at a higher path, he needs to think seriously. Hope he does that and wish him all the best.

సంగీతంకి ఉన్న శక్తి అమోఘం. ఒక్కోసారి గుండెల్ని పిండి మనసుని కరిగిస్తే, ఇంకోసారి మనసుకి సాంత్వనం చేకూరుస్తుంది. ఒక్కోసారి ఆహ్లాదం కలుగ చేస్తే ఒక్కోసారి ఉర్రూతలూగిన్స్తుంది. ఒక సారి ఉత్తేజ పరిస్తే ఇంకో సారి మనిషిని కదిలిస్తుంది. అటువంటి సంగీతానికి ఎటువంటి గొప్ప అమోఘమైన పరికరం అక్కర్లేదు, ఎటువంటి పరికరమైన లయ, తాళం, స్వరం చేరితే అదే సంగీతం అవుతుంది, అన్ని చేస్తుంది. అదే సరి అయిన పండితుని చేతిలో పది, దాని మాట అనే అలంకారం చేరితే, చిన్న మాట అయిన సంగీతం అవుతుంది ఆహ్లాద పరుస్తుంది. వీటన్నిటి కంటే మాధుర్యం చాల శక్తివంతమైనది. ఈ పాట మాధుర్యానికి పెద్ద పీట వేసిన పాట. లౌక్యం, హాస్యం, సందేశం, చాతుర్యం అన్ని సమ పాళల్లో  కుదిరి మనకి మంచి అనుభూతిని మిగుల్స్తుంది. 

ఇంక వంశి గారి గురించి, ఆయన భావుకత గురించి చెప్పే కన్నా ఆయన సినిమాలు చూడటం ఉత్తమం.అయన ప్రతి సినిమా ఒక అనుభూతి. ఆయన చెప్పేది మనకి అందితేనే కలిగితేనే నచ్చుతాయి, లేకపోతె ఏదో అర్థం కాని ఆహార్యం గా మిగిలిపోతుంది. ఈ పాటలో దివాకరం సైకిల్ చక్రాలకి వీడియో కాసేట్ట్  తగిలించటం, అలాగే సైకిల్ వెనకాల ఒక పెద్ద దొంతర పేర్చటం, ఆ సైకిల్ తొక్కుతూ దివాకరం పాట దానికి మధురమైన సంగీతం తోడు అయ్యి ఒక విచిత్రమైన అనుభూతి కలిగిస్తాయి.

ఈ పాట తమిళ్ పాట  చిత్తిర చెవ్వానం సిరిక్క కండేన్  అనే పాట ఆధారం గా చేసిన పాట. 1978 లో విడుదలైన కాట్రినిలే  వరుం గీతం అనే సినిమా కి సంగీతం సమకూర్చినది కూడా ఇలయరాజానే. వంశి-ఇళయరాజాకి ఉన్న అనుబందం, ఈ తెలుగు సినిమా ప్రపంచం లో ఏ దర్శకునికి సంగీత దర్శకునికి లేదు అంటే అతిశయోక్తి కాదు. ఈ పాట  స్వర పరచిన ఇళయరాజా చాలానే మారుపులు చేసి ఏ పాటకి ఆ పాటే అన్నట్టు స్వరపరచారు. పాట లోకి వెళ్తే మనకి ఈ విషయాలు అర్థం అవుతాయి. వంశికి ఇళయరాజా తో ఉన్న అనుభందం తో అయన సమకూర్చిన అనేక పాటలు, BGM  ఆయన దగ్గరనుంచి సంపాదించి ఒక లైబ్రరీ గా చేసుకున్నారు. వంశి సినిమాలోని పాటలు ఎక్కువగా ఇళయరాజా ఏదో ఒక సినిమా కి చేసిన  BGM కాని పాత పాటలు తనకి అనుగుణం గా మార్చుకున్నవే. ఆయనని కొత్త పాటలు అడిగే కంటే ఇలాగ తనకి నచ్చినవి చేసుకోవటం ఇష్టమేమో. ఈ పాట సినిమాలో వాడుకున్న తీరు, దానికి సిరివెన్నెల రాసిన మాటలు మనకి తమిళ చాయలు ఎక్కడా కనపడకుండా చేస్తాయి. అందుకే ఈ పాట ఒక మధురమైన గీతం గా మిగిలిపోతుంది.

ఈ సినిమా గురించి చెప్పాలంటే, ఇది వంశి చేసిన ఒక అద్బుతమైన ప్రయోగం. దివాకరం పాత్ర మనల్ని నవ్విస్తుంది, కదిలిస్తుంది. ఆటను ఎంత అల్లరి చిల్లరి గా తిరిగినా, ఎంత అబద్దాలు చెప్పిన ఒకరిని నష్ట పరిచేవి కాని, హాని చేసేవి కాని కాదు. కాని అతను అనుకోకుండా కెమెరా మాన్ గా వెళ్ళిన  ఒక పెళ్ళిలో భువనేశ్వరిని చూసి మనసు పారేసుకుంటాడు. ఆమె ఉన్న ఊరికి బదిలీ అయ్యి వస్తుంది అని తెల్సుకొని ఆమె వివరాలు ఆమె మేన మామ ద్వారా తెల్సుకొని, ఆమెని పొందటానికి అన్ని సమకూర్చుకుంటాడు. ఈలోపల ఉత్తర  ప్రత్యుత్తరాలు చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు. భువనేశ్వరి తరపున ఆమె మేనమామ, దివాకరం రాసిన ఆ ఉత్తరాలకి జవాబులు ఇస్తూ ఉంటాడు. ఈ విషయం తెలియని దివాకరం భువనేశ్వరి రాజముండ్రి రాగానే తన ప్రేమ గురించి చెప్తాడు, అప్పటికే అతని గురించి తెల్సిన భువనేశ్వరి, అతనిని వదిలించటానికి ఏప్రిల్ 1 వరకు అబద్దం చెప్పకుండా ఉంటె అతనికి పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటాను అని చెప్తుంది. అప్పటి వరకు అల్లరి చిల్లరిగా తిరిగి అబద్దాలు చెప్తూ ఉన్న అతనికి తన ప్రేమ మీద ఉన్న శ్రద్ద తో అన్ని నిజాలే చెప్పటం ఆరంభిస్తాడు. ఆ నిజాలు అతని జీవితాన్ని ఎలా మార్చాయో, అవి అతనికి ఎలా హాని కలిగించాయో, చివరికి భువనేశ్వరి ప్రేమని పొందుతాడో లేదో సినిమా లో చూడవలసినదే. సినిమా ఎన్ని మలుపులు తిరుగుతుందో, సినిమాలో చూడాల్సిందే.

సిరివెన్నెల గారికి చుక్కలు తేవడం, ఆకాశం దిగి రావటం ( దించటం )  అంటే అత్యంత ఇష్టం అనుకుంట. ఈ ప్రయోగం కొన్ని పాటలలో చేసారు. నాకు గుర్తున్న పాట, నువ్వే నువ్వే లో " నా మనసుకేమయింది" పాట  లో చుక్కలే తెచ్చి ఇవ్వనా అంది నీ మీద నాకు ఉన్న ప్రేమ" అని అంటారు, అలాగే, నువ్వు నాకు నచ్చావ్ లో "ఒక్క సారి చెప్పలేవా" పాట లో  "చుక్కలన్నీ దిగి వస్తుంటే కరిగిపోని దూరం ఉందా?" 

దివాకరం ఒక పెళ్ళికి వెళ్లి అక్కడ చురుకు గా తిరిగే భువనేశ్వరి ప్రేమలో పడతాడు. ఆమెని దక్కించు కోవాలంటే తను జీవితం లో స్థిరపడి, అన్ని సమకూర్చుకుంటే దక్కుతుంది అని ఆమె మేనమామ ద్వారా తెల్సుకొని అవి సంపాదించాలని నిశ్చయించుకొని తను పెరిగే శుభ గారి దగ్గర, ఒక గదిని మార్చి వీడియో షాప్ గా మారుస్తాడు. దానికి ఊరంతా అప్పులు చేసి ఆ అప్పులిచ్చిన వారినందరినీ పిల్చి వినూత్నం గా షాప్ ప్రారంబిస్తాడు. రిబ్బన్ వాడకుండా ఒక పెద్ద చెక్క కట్ చెయ్యటం, వంశి గారి ఈ హాస్యాలోచన నిజం గా చూసి ఆనందించ వలసినదేఆ ప్రారంభోత్సవ సందర్భం గా మొదలయిన పాత ఇది. అందరిని పిలిచి ఈ పాట  పాడుతూ ఉంటె, ఎవరికీ అర్థం కాక అలా వింతగా చూస్తూ ఉంటారు.  ఇళయరాజా గారి గొప్పతనం అనేది ఏ పాట  ఆరంభం ఎలా చేస్తారో వింటే తెలుస్తుంది. ఒక వైపు రంపపు శబ్దం, ఇంకో వైపు గడియారం గడుస్తున్న అనుభూతి, ఆ తరువాత నెమ్మది గా పాత మూడ్ సెట్ చేసి గాయకులని పాడించటం. ఇది అనితర సాధ్యమైన కళ. చుక్కలు తెమ్మన్న అంటున్నప్పుడు కోరస్ ఆమె కోసం పాడుతున్నట్టు, ఆమె వింటున్నట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది.

సరే షాప్ పెట్టేశాం ఇంక బిజినెస్ చెయ్యాలంటే వచ్చిన వినియోగదారులని మెప్పించి ఒప్పించాలి. సిరివెన్నెల గారి మాటల చాతుర్యం ఎంత సరళమైన మాటలైనా ఏదో ఒక సందేశం లేకుండా పాట  రాయటం చూడం. వీడియో casette business చెయ్యాలంటే తన దగ్గర ఉన్న casettes  అందరికి ఇవ్వాలి కాని వాళ్ళు అడిగినవి అన్ని ఇవ్వటం ప్రతి సారి కుదరదు కదా. రాళ్ళపల్లి పక్కనుంచి నిజం చెప్పాలని అనుకున్న, ఏదో ఒక మాయ చేసి వచ్చిన వాళ్లకి ఏదో ఒక కాసేట్టే అంట గట్టేయ్యటం పాత్ర  లక్షణం, దానికి తగ్గట్టు గానే పాత. ఇది వంశి, సీతారామ శాస్త్రి గారు, ఇళయరాజా గారు జత కూరితే మిగిలేది విందు భోజనం. మనకి ఏదో ఒకటి ఇచ్చెయ్యాలి అన్న తాపత్రయం వాళ్ళకి  ఉండదు. అడిగిన దానికన్నాఎక్కువ  ఇవ్వటం వాళ్ళకి అలవాటు. షోలే ని తెలుగు లో జ్వాల గా తీస్తే ఆ సినెమా, ఖైది లేకపోతె ఖైది కన్నయ్య, జగదేక వీరుడు అతిలోక సుందరి, ఇలాగ పేర్లు చాతుర్యమే కాని, చివరిగా ఏ మాయ చేసిన అందరిని ఒప్పించి, తను డబ్బులు సంపాదించి భువనేశ్వరిని ఒప్పించాలి అన్న పాత్ర స్వభావం కనిపిస్తుంది పాటలో. దివాకరం ఇలాగ అందరిని మాయ చేసి ఇంట్లో అన్ని వస్తువులు సమకూర్చు కోవటం చూస్తాం.

ఇంక మిగితా పాత కూడా కథలోని విశేషాలే. చీటీ పాట  పాడి డబ్బులు తీసుకొని అవి ఎగ్గొడితే అందరు దివాకరాన్ని అడగటం, వాళ్ళని తన స్వభావనుసారం పక్కకి నేట్టేయ్యడం, చిన్న రావు ( బట్టల సత్యం), భాగ్యం మధ్య జరిగే కథలో చిన్నారావు తో దివాకరం చేసిన మతలబులు, ఇలాగ అన్నిలౌక్యం గా  చేస్తున్న, ఇవన్ని చివరికి తన సుఖం కోసమే అని భావించే దివాకరం మనస్తత్వానికి నిదర్శనం. అలా పాడుతూ ఊహల్లోకి వెళ్ళిపోయిన దివాకరానికి ఫోన్ రావటం తో పాట ముగుస్తుంది.

కొసమెరుపు:  ఈ సినిమా కోలపల్లి ఈశ్వర్, MI  కిషన్ రాసి చతుర మాస పత్రిక లో ప్రచురింప బడిన "హరిశ్చంద్రుడు అబద్దం ఆడితే" అనే నవల ఆధారం గా తీసిన  సినిమా. కాని ఈ సినిమా గొప్పతనం ఏమిటంటే, వంశి గారి చిత్రానువాదం, నటి నటుల ప్రతిభ, LB  శ్రీరామ్ గారి సంభాషణలు, ఇళయరాజా గారి మధుర సంగీతం, వీటన్నిటి కంటే మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబాలను ప్రతిబింబించే సన్నివేశాలు, ప్రదేశాలు అన్ని సరిగ్గా సమకూరి ఈ సినిమా జనరంజకం అయ్యింది. ఈ సినిమా మొత్తం రాజమండ్రి రైల్వే క్వార్టర్స్ లో 2 వారలలో ఒకటే లొకేషన్, సింగిల్  షాట్ లో తీసిన సినిమా.
